We are still on a high from the final stage, THE FINAL SWIM of ISCHIA, on October, 10th/11th:  the perfect ending for the 2020 Challenge, that was as much suffered as it was enjoyed by the  Italian Open Water Tour community!

We were able to carry out the 4 historical stages, as we kept  “promising” in the long spring of waiting… and here we are, ready to proclaim the winners, this year more than ever, great in both performances and motivation!

Remember that to be part of the final rankings of the Challenge you must have taken part in at least 3 of the 4 stages scheduled.

Camilla Montalbetti (Team  Insubrika) and  Daniele Savia(Swimmer Inside) are confirmed as winners after the triumph of the 2019  Challenge, giving yet another demonstration of being well-rounded and fierce athletes without ever abandoning unconditional sportsmanship.

Protagonists of a very different 2020 Challenge : for Montalbetti came the consecration with an almost clear path made of all victories in both races of each stage (smile and hard  swim) with the exception of the hard  swim  of Maccagno (where Sara  Petrolli won);while for Savia it was the ability to get to the podium in all three races of each stage (four for Ischia) moving flawlessly from the half sea mile to the hard swim.

The icing on the cake of these rankings is the victory of the special BIG TEAM  of Swimmers  Inside by Patron Stefano Trentin: in such a challenging year their presence has certainly been representative of a movement that does not give up.

All left to do is to congratulate everyone: to see so many athletes competing for the rankings and  meeting from Maccagno to Ischia is really exciting.

ALL YOU NEED IS SWIM!!!!
